Imagine if I told you that your life could change completely if you built more random acts of self-kindness into your day?
Congratulations. Coming here, you put yourself first.
Even if it’s for a few minutes. You were curious about a Delicious Life.
You may have questions… such as, is it possible for me to have a limitless life?
Or can I dream about the impossible being possible?
The only answer is “Yes” and here is why.
22 Million “sandwich generation” women (9 million are single moms) are driven by the caring for others & problem solving with too many responsibilities and not enough time. When they have an intuitive download that perhaps they could discover a more self-trusting path for their life, they turn to data, or need more evidence. They discount the inner calling.
Why do I know this? I have been there, and little by little, through small random acts of self-kindness, I changed the outlook, and opportunities in my life.
Society has trained us to not trust in ourselves so we stay on the hamster wheel. Keep working, striving, in the conditioning and societal expectations.
Our inner joy and self-kindness have been elusive and we are suffering because of it. Physically and mentally.
But there is a solution.
If told you, tomorrow, you could go after anything you want in your life, would you believe me? Could you believe me?
Because I know that permission is hard, I developed a simple, easy process to joyful self kindness that adds up like compound interest.
If you are not giving yourself enough compassion - you take a bike ride.
If you have not put yourself first - you watch a sunset.
You haven’t forgiven yourself for mistakes past and future - you plant flowers in your garden.
We don’t need any more personal development worksheets and power weekends to “change.” We are perfect just as we are.
We need more joy. We need more fun. We need a new Delicious Life.
The Exhale: Put Yourself First
I spent a decade attending women’s events when I was a book coach. I found that you were either networking hard with business cards, or you were getting an inner child cleansing. I didn’t see any of events that were in the middle, manageable for my schedule at the time (single mom, building a business, dating); an easy breezy two hours where I could get more accountable with how I wasn’t taking as good a care of my heart and soul as I would have liked.
I also heard women at countless events and gatherings speak of their desperation for permission to live the lives they wanted. To have time for themselves away from the pull and tug of society and life to lean into their own passions and dreams.
I grew to understand what permission meant to me - delicious moments of self-kindness.
I had practiced them all these years, In turmoil and ups and downs, and now I have created an event where I can facilitate for women how to see the ways their lives could be more expansive and personal to them, in connection and community.
That event is The Exhale: Put Yourself First. Imagine an evening that is just for you, to connect with like-minded women in a no-pressure setting, and release from the overextended exhausting swirl of life.
